The journey of a lifesaver is highly unpredictable. Enveloped by uncertainties, with moments of joy as well as challenges, the role requires enormous courage and patience. Dr Abha Majumdar is a living legend and has an endless list of accomplishments. She is currently the Director and Head of the ‘Centre of In Vitro Fertilization and Human Reproduction’, at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. In describing her life’s work, as a doctor, she has either surgically or by medicines, treated women, enabling them to get pregnant, successfully delivering such babies, thereby giving many couples the joy of parenthood.
