Dr. Abha Majumdar currently serves as the Advisor and Head of the Centre of In Vitro Fertilisation and Human Reproduction at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She provides clinical evaluation, medical management, and endoscopic surgical treatment for couples seeking reproductive healthcare and fertility services.
Dr. Majumdar completed her medical education at Maulana Azad Medical College, graduating with academic distinction. She was awarded 7 gold medals during her MBBS course and received the President’s Medal for Best Girl Student at her university.
Dr. Majumdar has been practicing in the field of assisted reproduction since its early development in India. She was part of the clinical team at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital involved in ART services established in 1991. Over the last three decades, the centre has expanded into a full-scale institutional fertility facility catering to complex clinical cases.
Her clinical work includes the management of high-risk pregnancies resulting from ART procedures, alongside endoscopic fertility-enhancing surgeries for structural conditions affecting reproductive health.
